We collect information on you to support the continuing operation of University of Sheffield Concerts. When you purchase a ticket or book an event.
We will retain your name, contact details and contact preferences when you make a purchase from our third - party box office provider (TicketSource). TicketSource will keep a record of your bank or credit card details used to make the purchase, but only temporarily and solely to process your transaction. This information is not permanently stored.
Understanding and developing our audiences
We use various tools including market research and audience profiling to help us understand audiences. This includes gathering information from you if you consent to provide it including demographic information, geographic location, gender, age, and motivations for attendance at our events. This type of information is only provided in an aggregate or anonymised form so that we cannot identify an individual.

With your consent, we will contact you to let you know about upcoming events, and updates on our services. The channels we use are email, post, and digital media.
